Arlene Joan Richa, 77, of Sidney, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011, at the Golden Living Center in Sidney.
Cremation has taken place and there is no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
Memorials have been established in care of the family.

Arlene was born August 25, 1933 in Concordia, Kansas to Adelore Richa and Mary (Harrison) Richa Stratton.
Arlene grew up in Kansas and received her education there. She moved to Oklahoma for a time before moving to Denver. In Denver, she worked for Gates Rubber Company. In 1981, she retired and moved to Sidney. In Sidney, she operated a home daycare.
Arlene loved sewing and quilting. She made many quilts, as well as, many clothes, for her family. She loved her grandson Garrett dearly. She also loved sunflowers.
Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Richa of Sidney; 1 grandson, Garrett of Sidney; 1 half-sister, Jolene Pailett of Springfield, MO; 2 nephews and 4 nieces including, Vickie Freemyer, David Richa, Debbie Richa, all of Haxton, CO; along with many other great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leo and Deryl Richa; and step-father, Loyd Stratton.
