Barbara “Barb” Moffat, 61, of Oshkosh, Nebraska passed away Friday, April 8, 2011 in Oshkosh, Nebraska.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church with Father Neal Nollette officiating. Rosary service will be at 7:00 P.M. Monday evening at the church. Burial will follow in the Oshkosh City Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Barbara’s name.
Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday at the Holechek Funeral Home in Oshkosh.

Barb was born January 5, 1950 in Oshkosh, NE to Johnny and Nettie (Edmisten) Ardissono.
She grew up in Oshkosh, receiving her education from Garden County School, graduating in 1968. Following graduation, on July 6, 1968 she married Melvin Moffat in Oshkosh.
Barb worked at Saveway, cooked at the hospital, and at Midwec in Oshkosh, before purchasing Oshkosh Cleaners in 1995. Barb operated the shop for 17 years.
Barb loved spending time with her grandchildren and she loved to hold babies. She had many talents and hobbies, including, quilting, sewing, mending, gardening and cooking. She had a special way with people and loved being involved.
Barb was a Chamber Member, a member of the Catholic Alter Society and many other organizations.
She was a lifetime member of the St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh.
Survivors include husband, Melvin; sons, Ron and Dodi Moffat, Moe and Jenny Moffat, all of Oshkosh; mother, Nettie Ardissono; brothers, Chuck Ardissono and Jerry and Rhonda Ardissono all of Oshkosh; brother-in-law, Allen and Cheri Moffat of Chappell; sister-in-law, Lila Moffat of Oshkosh; 9 grandchildren; and special friends, Paula Plog, Dodie Prohs and Tammy Harris all of Oshkosh.
Barbara was preceeded in death by her father, Johnny in 2009.
