Judith A. Davis, 64, of Sedgwick, CO passed away Tuesday May 10, 2011 at the Miller Memorial Care Center in Chappell, Nebraska.
Memorial services will be at 11:30 AM, Monday May 23, 2011 at the Elks Lodge in Silverthorne, Colorado.
Memorials can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), 720 S. Colorado Blvd., #380-South, Denver, CO 80246, please specify it is for Judy Davis Memorial or the Sedgwick Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 111, Sedgwick, CO 80749.
Judith Ann Davis was born December 28, 1946 to George & Ruth (Decker) Knorr of Blue River, Summit County and Kremmling, CO. She attended schools in Summit County and Kremmling where she graduated from West Grand High School in 1965. She then attended Colorado State College (currently University of Northern Colorado), in Greeley, CO and graduated in 1969 with a bachelors degree and teaching certificate.
Judy married Rod Davis on January 17, 1972 in Denver. To this union two children were born. She lived throughout much of Colorado during her life including Gunnison, Hotchkiss, Kremmling, Cedaredge, Grand Junction and Sedgwick.
Judy is survived by her husband Rod Davis; son Jeff Davis and wife Teresa of Sarasota, Florida; daughter Jan Toyne and husband Jason of Sedgwick, Colorado; three grandchildren Christina, Michael, and Jennifer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her father George Knorr, her mother Ruth (Decker) Knorr, and her brother Ed Knorr.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Chappell is serving the Davis family.
