Karl Mueller, III, 89 of Sidney died late Saturday evening, August 6, 2011 at the Memorial Health Center in Sidney.
Graveside services followed by military rites will be held at 9:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in the Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor Bob Mortvedt of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.
Memorials have been established to the Night of Hope Cancer Walk.
Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Holechek Funeral Home.
Karl Th. Mueller, III, the son of Dr. Karl Th. Mueller, II and Julia J. (Siedow) Mueller was born January 25, 1922 at Sidney, Nebraska. He grew up and attended school in Sidney, graduating from Sidney High School. He joined the Navy in 1942.
Karl worked for Union Pacific Railroad and Douglas Aircraft, spending most of his life in Nebraska, Wyoming and California.
Karl was a common good natured lad, always willing to help others. He will be missed by relatives and close friends.
He is survived by numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Sidney is serving the Mueller family.
