Tamela Cumbie, 50 of Sidney died late Friday evening, May 18, 2012 at the Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 24, 2012 in the Greenwood Cemetery in Sidney with Pastor Pete Morgan of the First Christian Church officiating.
Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 Wednesday at the Holechek Funeral Home in Sidney.
Memorials have been established to the family.
Tamela Kay Cumbie, the daughter of Dick and Glenda (Holland) Wood was born May 15, 1962 in Houston, Texas. She grew up in Texas where she attended school. She moved to Sidney in 2006.
On September 16, 2008 she was united in marriage to James Cumbie in Sidney.
She enjoyed reading books and loved her animals.
Survivors include her husband James Cumbie of Sidney, NE; her father Dick and wife Shiela Wood of Fountain, CO; two sisters: Terri and husband Tom Precure of Oklahoma and Tracy (Arnie) Wood of Texas; Step-son Marcus Cumbie of Sidney, NE; step-daughter Miracle Blanton of Sidney, NE; granddaughter Jesslin Rose of Bridgeport, NE; and several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Sidney is serving the Cumbie family.
