Sunny Bundren, 68 of Lewellen, Nebraska died Monday afternoon, July 16, 2012 at the Garden County Health Services Hospital in Oshkosh.
Cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned.

Sunny Gene Bundren, the son of Guy and Lois (Arnold) Bundren was born February 17, 1944 at Lawrenceville, Illinois. He grew up in Illinois where he attended school and graduated from high school.
He worked in Denver, Colorado at Zemcor doing steel work on buildings as well as electrical work.
On August 26, 1972 he was united in marriage to Margaret Perez in Denver.
His mother lived in Lewellen and he and Margaret spent a lot of time looking after her. After her death they took over the property. After Sunny retired three years ago, they moved to Lewellen.
Survivors include his wife Margaret of Lewellen, NE; two daughters: Doris Martinez of Indiana and Theresa Meggitt and husband Tom of Golden, CO; a god-daughter Kimberly Meggitt and three grand-children.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jerry.
