Milan Kugler, 79, of Oshkosh, died Thursday afternoon, November 8, 2012, at the Garden County Health Services Hospital in Oshkosh.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Wesleyan Church in Oshkosh with Reverend Rowland Benedict officiating. Burial will be held at 3:00 (CST) at the Loupe Valley Cemetery near Stapleton, Nebraska.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the family present from 4:00 to 6:00 at the Holechek Funeral Home in Oshkosh.

A memorial has been established in Milan’s name to the family.

Milan Lyvene Kugler was born on December 27, 1932 in a sod house near Ringgold, Nebraska to Forrest and Nina (Upton) Kugler. He grew up and attended school in Ringgold. He attended high school in McPherson, Kansas where he graduated in 1950. After high school he worked for a time as a nurse’s aide.

On October 31, 1952 he was united in marriage to Ramona Neal. The couple was blessed with seven active children. The family lived in numerous places and eventually settled in Chadron where he worked for Walstrom Ford until 1969 when he was involved in a motorcycle accident. He then started a fiberglass business where he made burial vaults and assorted tanks. In 1974 his business merged with McBell Industries in Oshkosh and the family moved. He also worked for the Garden County Roads Department before retiring.

After Ramona passed away on November 24, 1990 he was united in marriage to Terry (Cvetan) Klemp on February 14, 1992 in Oshkosh. The couple has resided in Oshkosh.

Milan loved fishing, planting flowers and gardening, carpentry, wood carving, and building miniature houses. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and many friends.

Milan is survived by his wife, Terry of Oshkosh; 7 sons, Royce and Karen of Lincoln, Craig and Carol of Rapid City, SD, Dale and Randi of Papillion, NE, Kevin and Joy of Elsie, NE, Chris and Debbie of Council Bluffs, IA, Todd and Jennifer of Omaha and David and Mary Klemp of Gering, NE; 1 daughter, Pamela and Terry Raymer of Oshkosh; 43 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, parents, 2 brothers, Wesley and Forrest, Jr., and a sister, Marian McPheron.
