Memorial Service

There will be a memorial service for the Christopher Kennedy family, friends and community at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Oshkosh, Nebraska on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.

A time for sharing fond memories and rememberances for Chris and his family will be included in the service.

Drinks and snacks will be held immediately following at the church.

Chris was born to Patrick and Jeanette Kennedy on November 24, 1979. He attended Oshkosh Grade School and graduated in 1998 from Garden County High School where he played football, baseball, and wrestled. While attending Wayne State College, he met the love of his life, Jennifer. They were married on May 28, 2005. Chris became a proud father to Caleb on February 2, 2006. From this point on his life revolved around taking care of his son by teaching Caleb how to wrestle, play baseball, golf, and to be a Yankee fan. He truly enjoyed going to Oshkosh to visit his family and life-long friends. He welcomed everyone into his life and treated them like a best friend. A day will not go by where he is not missed by all that knew and loved him.

Chris leaves behind his wife, Jennifer and six-year old son, Caleb; mother, Jeanette; brothers and wives, Jamie and Chelsey and children, Olivia and Connor; Dave and special friend, Traci and children, Bryce and Whitney; father and mother-in-law, Vern and Pat Younger; brother in law, Dave Younger and special friend Irene, and children, Josh, Aly, and Ayden; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Chris joins his father, Pat; and his grandparents on the road to everlasting life.
