Evelyn Wingate, 88 of Chappell, Nebraska died late Sunday evening, March 10, 2013 at the Miller Memorial Care Center in Chappell.
Cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned. There will be a private family inurnment held in the Chappell Cemetery at a later date.
Evelyn was born on January 22, 1925 in Akron, Ohio. She grew up in Akron and in 1945 she was united in marriage to Robert Wingate. They lived in Akron before moving to several different locations including Tucson, AZ, Denver, CO, Rapid City, SD and finally moving to Chappell where she lived with her son Eric.
One of her favorite pastimes was watching the Denver Broncos. She was liked by everyone who met her. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her three sons: Eric of Chappell, NE, Keith of Breckinridge, CO and Kevin of Independence, MO; two Grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchilden.
