Douglas Thompson, 50 of Chappell, Nebraska died Tuesday, April 30, 2012 at his home in Chappell.
Cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned.
Douglas Wayne Thompson, the son of Ronald E. and Beverly Anne (Clemens) Thompson was born September 4, 1962 in Grant, Nebraska. He grew up and attended school in Wallace, Nebraska. After high school he moved to South Dakota where he worked on oil rigs, before moving to Colorado where he was a painter in construction. He moved to Chappell in 2006.
Survivors include his mother Beverly Anne Thompson of Kearney, NE; a son Eric Thompson; and three sisters: Roni Marie Melton of Dickens, NE, Sandy Dailey of Chappell, NE and Toni Huss of Kearney, NE
He was preceded in death by his father.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Chappell is serving the Thompson family.
