Zach Berch

Zachary J. Berch, 63, of Hyannis passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015 at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Broadwater with Ann Bairn, PMA officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Rosehill Cemetery near Broadwater.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.

Zachary Jonathan Berch was born on October 14, 1952 in Winterset, Iowa. He spent his early life in an Iowa farming family and then working in many Midwestern places as a cowboy, mechanic, and carpenter. He also worked on the county in Hyannis, Nebraska in the latter part of his life. Zach was a Ford truck connoisseur and of any tractor ever made. He enjoyed watching Nascar and the rodeo. He knew his way around any farm, ranch, or shop. He made many friends across the country.

Zach is survived by his son, Zebulan Berch, brother, Randy and wife Andrea Berch, Jim Berch, sister-in-law, Sue Berch, mother-in-law, Lyla Rice, sister-in-law, Melinda Rice, brother-in-law, Jim and wife, Tiffany Rice, special friend, Jan Burgess and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Berch, son, John Berch, father, John Berch, mother, Rose Ellen Danley, brother, Herm Berch, sister, Jill Rudolf, and father-in-law, Herschel Rice.
