Amanda Wright, 63 of Sidney, Nebraska died Monday afternoon, March 28, 2016 at her home in Sidney.
At her request cremation has taken place and no services are planned.

Amanda Lea Wright, daughter of Louis and Florence (Fries) Brounko was born September 12, 1952 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She attended country school near Broadwater, Nebraska through the eighth grade. She then attended high school in Bridgeport, graduating from Bridgeport High School in 1969.
On June 8, 1969 she married John H. Swires, Sr. and to this union two children were born: John, Jr. and Mindy. They made their home in the Bridgeport area. After they divorced she married Steve Wright on January 26, 2005 and they lived in Walsh, Colorado. She moved back to Sidney in 2012.
Survivors include one son, John Swires, Jr. and wife Cindy of Sidney, NE; one daughter Mindy Catron and husband Neal of Boston, MA; her mother Florence Treinen of Ft. Morgan, CO; 7 grandchildren; and three step-children: Danny and wife Tristan Wright, Chris Wright and Amanda Wright.
She was preceded in death by father.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Sidney is serving the Wright family.
