Elaine Johnson, 91, formerly of Omaha, Nebraska died Saturday evening, December 3, 2016 at Sloan’s Estates in Sidney.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 23, 2016 in the United Methodist Church in Chappell, Nebraska with Pastor David Abbott officiating. Services will conclude at the church.
Cremation has been held and there is no visitation at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established for future designation by the family.
Elaine moved from Omaha in October of 2009 to Willow Ridge in McCook, Nebraska where she resided until October of 2015 when she moved to Sidney.
Survivors include her daughter Sandy Fornander and husband Ken of Chappell, NE; granddaughter Amy Hanson and husband Eric of Lincoln, NE and their children Annika Marie and Reed Norman; grandson Wade Fornander and wife Kristin of Lincoln, NE and their children Aubrey Ann, Adeline Kay and Kensett Joseph; her brother-in-law Duane Miller of Kearney, NE and beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Keith, infant daughter Linda, parents Bruce and Elsie Dickerson, father and mother-in-law Joseph and Eleanor Johnson, sister Nancy Miller, brother-in-law Kenneth Johnson and sister-in-law Lorena Johnson.
