Gerardo “Jerry” Fidele, 75, of Chappell passed away on Saturday morning, June 10, 2017 at his home in Chappell.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
Memorials are suggested to the Chappell Adopt-A-Dog 16730 Hwy 30 Chappell, NE 69129 or the Chappell Senior Center 245 Matlock Ave, Chappell, NE 69129.

Gerardo Fidele was born October 15, 1941 in Boise, Idaho to Casmir and Hazel (Kenney) Fidele. He graduated from Decatur Community Schools in 1959 in Oberlin, Kansas.
In 1960 Jerry married Nancy Francis in Oberlin. To this union 2 children were born: Greg and Melanie.
Jerry work as a salesman for Mutual of Omaha for 25 years, JC Penny in Dodge City for 5 years and for the Chappell Senior Center as a bus dispatcher for 5 years after moving to Nebraska.
He enjoyed gardening, golf, computers, and bowling.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Nancy of Chappell; son Greg and wife, J Fidele of Chappell; daughter, Melanie and husband, Pat Holt of Pratt, Kansas; 4 grandchildren, Dane and wife, Shayna Conant of Cimarron, Kansas, Rylie Conant of Pratt and Nash and Pierce Leef of Chappell; great grandchildren Raelyn and Daxton Conant; sister Marilyn and husband, Gerald Lundgren of Cascade, Idaho, and nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and Nancy’s parents, Stewart and Mary Francis.
