Audrey (Jo) Connelly, 70 of Sidney, Nebraska died Saturday, December 3, 2010 at her home in Sidney.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 10, 2010 in the First United Methodist Church in Sidney with the Rev. Thomas Hyde officiating. Services will conclude at the church with cremation to follow. Inurnment will be at a later date with her husband in the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery in Alliance, Nebraska.
Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Audrey Lucile Connelly, the daughter of Aubrey and Stachia (Lorabu) Burton was born April 7, 1940 at Alliance, Nebraska. She was one of four children.
In 1973 Audrey met Earl Connelly in Colorado and on June 19, 1973 they were married and shared 37 years together.
Survivors include two brothers: Vern Burton and wife Diane of Nisland, SD and Wesley Burton of Alliance, NE. There were five children born from a previous marriage: three sons; LeRoy Doyle of Germany, Danny Doyle of Rapid City, SD and Dirk Doyle and two daughters; Kathy and husband Richard Sadler of Las Vegas, NV and Debra and husband Jason Trussell of Bridgeport, NE. She is also survived by four step-sons: John, Mike and Paul Connelly of Florida and Tommy Connelly of Colorado.
