Donna Noland, 82, of Oshkosh passed away Friday afternoon, October 26, 2018 at the Regional West Garden County Hospital in Oshkosh.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Oshkosh United Methodist Church with Pastor Janie Freeman officiating.  Easter Star Rites will be performed at the church by Chapter 246.  Burial will follow in the Oshkosh City Cemetery.

Memorials in Donna’s name can be made to the OES #224 (111 Main St.  Oshkosh, NE 69154).

Donna J. Noland was born on September 14th, 1936 in Omaha, the daughter of Sheila (Hinsdale) and Clyde Caldwell. Their home was in Lisco until 1942 when Sheila married Ross Roudebush and they settled in Oshkosh. Donna attended schools in Oshkosh and graduated 1st in her class in 1954.

She then attended Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln. While there, Donna and Lawrence E. Noland Jr., USAF, were marred December 22, 1956. She first taught in Tekamah and then the couple moved to Markleville Indiana, where Larry worked for General Motors, and later to Chesterfield and to Anderson Indiana before retiring to Oshkosh in 1991, where Larry died in 2001.

To this union were born four children; Kim in 1957, David in 1960, Michael in 1961, and Tamara in 1962.

Donna lived a full life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, homemaker, and girl scout leader. She enjoyed many activities, Home Ec Club, Chorus, and Garden Club; she was an active member of OES Chapter 363 of Markleville Indiana and OES Chapter 264 of Oshkosh, where she served as Worthy Matron for several terms. She worked the polls in Indiana where she was elected twice to a minor political office. She and Larry loved to fish, camp, and play cards. They loved to garden and Donna worked as a para educator and sub for Garden County Elementary. She also bowled with special friends for over 30 years. She was an avid sports fan and Husker fan.

Donna leaves behind three children; David (Amy) Noland of Oshkosh, Tammy Krauter of Oshkosh, Mike(Trilla) of Indiana; Eight grandchildren; Josh (Darcie) Richman of Indiana, Zachary Krauter of Texas, Brittany (Jeromy) Krauter of Oshkosh, Courtney Noland of Scottsbluff, JR Mendoza of Scottsbluff, Brittany (Matt) Mendoza of Lincoln, Brandon (Jennifer) Noland of Indiana, and Lindsey (Brandon) Cortrecht of Indiana. She also leaves behind 12 great grandchildren, her sister Sandy Howell of Oshkosh, Brother Ken Roudebush of Oshkosh, Brother in law Jim (Rhonda) Noland of Indiana, and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life Larry Noland, her daughter Kim, her sister Glenna and husband Joe Woolery, her brother Larry Roudebush, sister in laws, Sue and husband Richard Neff and Sharon and husband Carl Rubenking, brother in laws Dan Noland and Leroy Howell, her parents and grandparents, and niece Chris Noland.
