Gail Grace

Gail Angela Grace, 77, of Lewellen, passed away Tuesday morning, May 21, 2019 at the Ogallala Community Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Ash Hollow Cemetery with Brenda Tophoj, PMA officiating. 

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Memorials in Gail’s name can be made to the Lewellen Fire Department.

Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home and Cremation in Oshkosh is serving the Grace family.

Gail was born September 1, 1941 to Floyd and Angela Bernard in Great Falls, Montana.  When she was 3 years old the family moved to Denver.

She was united in marriage to Marv Grace on February 17, 1970 in Las Vegas.  To this union their daughter, Shelby Jo Grace was born.

Gail enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching “Days of Our Lives” daily at 2 p.m., Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.  She loved the views of the hills surrounding his home south of Lewellen and her winter home in Arizona.

She will be missed greatly by her daughter, Shelby of Lewellen; sister-in-law, Joan and husband, John Podkonyak; brothers-in-law, Merlin and wife, Arlene Grace, and Butch Grace wife, Jeannie “Louie” Grace all of Lewellen; 2 nephews, 3 nieces and many friends.  Special friends, Colby, Tammy, Kane, and Kohl.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marv in 2012, and niece, Holly.
