Helen was born January 10,1943 in Butler, PA to Joseph and Helen Fleming. She was the youngest of four children, and their only daughter. The family moved to California when she was six years old, and she lived there for the next fifty years of her life. On September 23, 1966, she married the love of her life, Joe Huska and they shared two daughters, Myava Marie and Wendy Lee.

During those years, they enjoyed travelling together, and spending time as a family, especially playing tennis. They especially loved their annual trips to Maui, HI where they renewed their wedding vows several times.

She retired after 35 years in the banking industry, and on New Year’s Day of 1999, the couple moved to Chappell where they spent the remainder of their years. They spent those years continuing in their travels, and golfing.

Helen had a keen humor and quick wit. She and Joe would keep those around them entertained as they bantered and bounced jokes off each other. She loved to sing and could be heard singing throughout the house as she went about her business. She also loved crafting, and oh, how she loved to shop!

Helen was an active parishioner at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, serving in various capacities during Masses, working in the Church office, and as Director of Religious Education.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joe, daughter, Myava Anderson (Dave) of Lake Havasu City, AZ, stepdaughter, Wendy Pugliano (Mike) of St. George, UT, granddaughter, Allison Squillace (John), and great-granddaughter, Charlotte.
