Nola “Lee” Batt

Nola “Lee” Batt, 91, of Lincoln and formerly of Sidney, Nebraska passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Sumner Place in Lincoln.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Friday, July 31, 2026 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sidney with Father C.P Varghese officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening 4-6 at the church with a rosary service at 6:00 pm.

Nola “Lee” Batt was born to Loran and Lucille Keenan on March 13, 1935 in Crawford, NE. Lee was united in marriage to Robert Batt on February 27, 1954 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sidney, NE and shared 66 years of marriage and four children together. They made their home in the Sidney and Ogallala, NE area until they made their retirement in Lincoln, NE.

Lee loved being with family and friends, garage sales, Dean Martin music, playing the piano by ear, playing cards, bowling, camping, and the T.V. show “Reba”.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lavern Batt; parents, Loran and Lucille Keenan; grandparents, Floyd and Sally Keenan, Michael and Emma (Serres) O’Connell; daughter-in-law Rochelle Batt (Jones); grandchildren, Ali and Sean Handley.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Ringleman and Kira Handley of Lincoln, NE; sons, Greg Batt of North Platte, NE and Chris Batt of Ogallala, NE; grandchildren; Kristin, Bobbie, Becca, Zach, and Brittany; great grandchildren, Caden, Caleb, Connor, Jackson, Harper, Jaiyana, Amiyah, Mila, Reegan and Kamden; siblings, Lois Sebold of Sidney, NE and Bruce Keenan of San Diego, CA.
