Scottsbluff, Nebraska

Shannon Bishop, 58, of Terrytown, passed away Sunday evening, March 10, 2024 in Scottsbluff.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Chuck Wagon Church 1408 East 12th Street in Scottsbluff.

Services will be streamed live and available to watch later on the Holechek-Bondegard Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/hbfunerals).  

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Shannon’s name can be made to the family.

Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home and Cremations in Oshkosh and Bridgman Funeral Home in Scottsbluff are serving the Bishop family.

Shannon Lori Ream was born September 15, 1965 to Lloyd “Pud” and Bernadine “Bunny (Lathan) Ream.  She grew up north of Morrill on the farm in Sioux County and attended Morrill schools.  She graduated from Morrill High School in 1984.  After high school she attended Chadron State College and earned her bachelor’s degree.

She was married to David Bishop and to this union 3 children were born: Heaven, Symphony, and Lane.  Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy and helped her through the last few years of health problems.

Shannon was a member of the Chuck Wagon Church and enjoyed attending services and singing the hymns.

She is survived by her 3 children: Heaven, Symphony and Lane Bishop all of Scottsbluff; 2 beautiful granddaughters, Naomi and Raven; siblings, Melody Landen of Kearney, Shawn Hays, Monica Ream, Justin Ream, Josh Ream and Jill Ream all of Scottsbluff; special friend, Buddy Pester, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Shannon was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Harmony.
