Loving wife and dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away in her sleep on October 31, 2018 in Salem, Oregon.  She was born on February 25, 1938 in Sidney, Nebraska.  She lived and graduated with the class of 1956 in Sidney, Nebraska.

Sharon followed Jesus and attended churches all her life.  She attended the First Christian Church in Sydney, Nebraska for many years when she was young and attended other churches though out her life.  She moved to Denver, Colorado after she and Richard were married, from there to Missouri onward to their last homestead in Lodgepole, Nebraska.  After that, they sold the farm and she touched many lives through traveling in the RV with her husband for 20 years.  During the last few years, they settled down in Salem, Oregon.

Sharon was a member of the Escapes RV Club for 20 years, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary since 2013, and Royal Neighbors of America.

She loved her family very much and gave her life to her family with years of dedication and commitment.  She was married to her husband Richard Vosika for 53 years.  They have five children; Desiree, Kevin, Mark, Laura, and Matthew, Twelve grandchildren; Christopher, Benjamin, Jordan, Jessica, Thomas, Casey, Kaitlin, Brittany, Rachael, Riley, Jayden, and Alyssa.  Three great grandchildren; Josiah, Eden and Bentley.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 9th at 11:00 am at Howell Edwards Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors, 1350 Commercial St SE, Salem, OR 97302.

Sharon will be laid to rest in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Lodgepole following her services in Oregon with a private service.  Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home and Cremations in Chappell is assisting the family with local arrangements.
